William Morris ARCM, LRAM, ABSM Director

William
Morris teaches the piano professionally, both privately and at schools in Gloucester, where he grew
up. He studied piano at the Birmingham School of Music, gaining ARCM and ABSM
diplomas in piano teaching. He continued his studies to gain the LRAM in piano
performance. He then spent seven years in Germany
where he taught piano before returning to England in 1982.
William
studied organ with John Sanders, organist at Gloucester Cathedral for about
four years. William now plays regularly at St. Barnabas Church, Tuffley, Gloucester, and
deputises at other churches in Gloucester.
William is particularly interested in nineteenth century organ repertoire and
the music of J.S. Bach.
