Dr. Liz Cooper    Dr Liz Cooper studied music first at the University of Leeds (BA Hons) and later at the University of Huddersfield (MA and PhD), subsequently contributing a chapter to "Musicians of Bath and Beyond: Edward Loder (1809-1865) and His Family"  (Woodbridge, 2016). Although not an organist herself, Liz has an enthusiasm for organ music, especially that of J S Bach, which goes back to childhood and she attends as many recitals as possible. Liz is also a passionate advocate for the encouragement of young organists. She is very honoured to be ORTOA’s current President.
